For medical reasons, Venera would not be able to perform Francesca da Rimini in Amsterdam as previously announced. In her statement on social media Venera said: "This is the first cancellation in my career and is due to strict advice from my doctor. Please don't be alarmed - I am OK but need to take it easy for now. I cannot tell you how sad and disappointed I am to pass this news to you. But hopefully I will be back on stage in no time and I rely on your continuous understanding and support." It is expected that Venera's next stage appearance will be in Munich in La traviata by Bayerische Staatsoper.
