Final performances of 2017 in Amsterdam, Salzburg and Dresden / by Florence Eves

Venera brings 2017 to a close with two concerts in December in Amsterdam and Salzburg, and two final performances of Lucia at Semperoper Dresden.

On 16 December, she returns to the role of Queen of Shemakha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Golden Cockerel for a concert performance with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic and Vasily Petrenko at Amsterdam’s beautiful Concertgebouw. It marks the first time Venera has worked with Maestro Petrenko.

Then on 20 December, she joins José Carreras for a concert performance at the Salzburg Grosses Festspielhaus as part of José’s tour. Venera performed with him on a previous tour in 2016 at some of the great concert halls of Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonie and Leipzig Gewandhaus.

Her final dates as Lucia in Semperoper Dresden’s Lucia di Lammermoor take place on 8 and 22 December.
