Venera makes her Edinburgh International Festival debut / by Florence Eves

On Friday 25 August, Venera makes her debut at the prestigious Edinburgh International Festival. Accompanied by pianist Pavel Nebolsin, she will sing a selection of songs from their homeland of Russia, with works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov and more.

The concert, at 11am, will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 in the UK.

Held annually in August, the Edinburgh International Festival is one of the most significant arts festivals in the UK, especially for classical music. Each year, it hosts many of the world’s top classical performers in venues across Edinburgh. Venera’s recital will take place in the Queen’s Hall.
