Venera performs two London charity recitals & appears on BBC Radio 3 In Tune / by Florence Eves

Venera will perform live on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune on Monday 18 January. This comes just before she sings at charity recitals in London on 25 January at Kings Place and on 2 February at The Mansion House.

‘Jewels from Venus’ at Kings Place features a collection of art songs by Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Delibes and Faure. The recital is in support of educational programmes for opera and classical music run by British company OperaCoast. Venera is joined by distinguished pianist Roger Vignoles, who also joins her on In Tune.

Then on Tuesday 2 February she performs a recital in support of Norwood, a leading Jewish charity supporting vulnerable children, families and people with learning disabilities. Accompanied by pianist Pavel Nebolsin, she will perform music by Verdi, Puccini, Gounot, Rachmaninov and Rimsky-Korsakov.
