Venera makes her debut with the Opéra National de Paris in September, joining director Benoît Jacquot's production for two shows of Verdi's La traviata.

She sings her signature role of Violetta on 26 September and 8 October at the Opéra Bastille, joining Dmitri Hvorostovsky as Giorgio Germont and conducted by Dan Ettinger. Click here for more information.

Gimadieva reprises the role of Violetta following a hugely successful Glyndebourne debut in the same role this summer.  Her performances were acclaimed by critics (see story, 21 July).
